Position Title: Contracts Manager

 

Location: Dublin

 

Job Information (incl. essential functions): With the expansion of the international platforms, CDB Aviation is currently seeking to appoint a Contracts Manager to join the Contracts Management Team in Dublin.

 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the EMEA and US portfolio of airline clients.
  • Liaise with airlines, OEMs, external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure that deliveries, redeliveries and sales take place in accordance with terms and timelines of the contract including drafting and negotiating Conditions Precedents (CPs), Conditions Subsequent (CSs).
  • Assist internal Deal Team with negotiating amendments, extensions and restructurings.
  • Responsible for reviewing LOI and lease agreement terms in respect of rent, Security Deposit, CPs, CSs and Letters of Credit (LCs).
  • Assist with debt collection for relevant portfolio of clients, and as/when necessary travel to visit clients;
  • Upload and audit lease contract information in Company’s lease management system (“Leasepoint”) or similar.
  • Keep and organize transaction documents in electronic form and ensure hard copy bibles are collated and archived;
  • Draft correspondence or legal documents as may be requested by legal, from time to time;
  • Manage a portfolio of LCs ensuring they are up to date and compliant with the terms of each lease;
  • Prepare and distribute reports, in line with company’s requirements, to provide internal and external parties with relevant and up to date lease/portfolio information;
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the complete execution of lease terms; and
  • Populate slides, charts, or sections in corporate memos and presentations as required.

  • Need to keep abreast of changes and amendments to transactions;
  • Strong planning and time management to ensure transaction pacing items are met.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Deal execution team is satisfied with smooth closings of transactions;
  • Accurate and timely completion of all duties and responsibilities;
  • Timely and proper support and assistance to the regional Deal Team and Legal Attorneys;
  • Timely and accurate uploading of information to the various Company’s systems if required;
  • Prompt turnaround of all communications and requests both internally and externally with customers and external legal counsel;
  • Proper record keeping;
  • All transaction documents are stored and filed appropriately.

 

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a leading aircraft lessor or within the wider aviation industry
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft excel and word a must
  • Flexible and self-starting with the ability to blend with a small team
  • Proactive approach to addressing problems and proven problem-solving skills
  • Understand the impact of document terms on various business areas
  • A strong understanding of databases and document management systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
