NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alan Geraghty is the head of European Operations at Wilmington Trust and is responsible for managing growth, along with administrative and strategic business operations, within Europe. Alan has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry in both onshore and offshore jurisdictions, specializing in a broad array of corporate trust transactions, including structured finance (including ABS and equipment finance), entity management, SPVs, and loan agency.
Alan leads experienced teams in the UK, Italy, Germany, and Ireland and is focused on identifying new markets and solutions for our global clients.
Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2004, Alan served as manager and head of special purpose vehicles for Dresdner Bank Lateinamerika AG in the Cayman Islands. Alan also worked as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ireland and the Cayman Islands. Alan is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and he completed his training with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin.
