CDB Aviation Participates in Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach)’s Official Visit to China
In early January 2026, the Prime Minister of Ireland, Taoiseach Micheál Martin, paid an official visit to China, meeting with representatives of Chinese and Irish businesses in sectors of close cooperation between the countries, such as agri-food, financial services, technological innovation, and aviation. The visit focused on strengthening bilateral economic and trade ties, laying a foundation for the continued growth of the Ireland-China strategic partnership for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Jie Chen, CDB Aviation’s Chief Executive Officer, and Michelle Wu, CDB Aviation’s Head of Commercial, Greater China, were among the distinguished guests of Taoiseach and the Irish Ambassador to China, Dr. Nicholas O’Brien, during a business dinner held on January 5, 2026, at the Kerry Hotel Beijing.
