CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
Zheng is our Chief Investment Officer, based in Dublin. Zheng brings an extensive professional background, with an in‐depth understanding of both Chinese state‐owned financial institutions and best practices among the industry’s leading lessors. His illustrious career incorporates a 20-year tenure with the Bank of China Group, including 12 years spent in overseas offices, as well as 15 years of experience in the aviation finance industry, covering both revenue and operational functions. Prior to CDB Aviation, he served in an advisory role to the ABC office of CDB Leasing. His aviation-related executive roles include Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CMIG Aviation Capital; Managing Director and Head of Aviation of Ping An International Leasing; and SVP Aircraft Sales, Head of Cross Selling of BOC Aviation. Zheng holds an Executive MBA degree from Cass Business School, City University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Foreign Affairs College in Beijing.
